Dr. Rudd believes he is only as good as the people around him. Our Team consists of highly trained individuals who are dedicated to making your visit to our office as comfortable as possible. From the knowledgeable administrative staff, to our caring and compassionate clinical team of assistants, we are constantly striving to provide you with an exceptional surgery experience.

Grace – Front Office, Dental Anesthesia Assistant
What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
I have been at BCOFS for over 5 years, and during most of that time I have been a surgical assistant. Now I am part of the front office staff and help create the environment we work in.

AAOMS certified dental anesthesia assistant, certified dental assistant, certificate in phlebotomy
What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
I like the friendships that have been built amongst my co-workers. We all get along really well and have created a work environment that doesn’t feel like you’re working.
What do you love to do when you aren’t working?
I love spending time with my significant other and our children. We enjoy various activities from outdoors to being at home watching movies.
What values drive you?
My family, especially my children. I would not want my family coming to a place they’d be uncomfortable, so I try extra hard to make this a place I’d want my family at.

Robyn – Practice Relations Director, Dental Anesthesia Assistant
What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
I am the director of public relations for the practice. I also still practice as a surgical assistant.
What is your background?
Born in Albuquerque and raised in Arizona and upper Michigan. I had two brothers, but we lost my older brother on his 25th birthday due to a helicopter crash. He was serving in the Army. That changed my life forever.
What are your credentials?
AAOMS certified dental anesthesia assistant, certified dental assistant, certificate in phlebotomy, working in the dental field since 2003.
What values drive you?
Being kind to everyone.
What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
I like oral surgery a lot and I love all my co-workers and Dr. Rudd. We have fun at work.
What do you love to do when you aren’t working?
I love to travel, especially tropical vacations. I play volleyball and golf. Learning about science and history are also pastimes I enjoy.

Matt – Oral Surgery Assistant, Dental Anesthesia Assistant
What is your background?
Growing up on a large farm in rural North Dakota, I am the oldest of 6 kids. Family has been my biggest influence; we spent a lot of time with each other doing chores, helping our grandparents and aunts and uncles. Before working at BCOFS I assisted in endodontics, general dentistry, and periodontics.
What are your credentials?
AAOMS certified dental anesthesia assistant, certified dental assistant, certificate in phlebotomy. 2014 is the year I started working in the dental field.
What are your 3 favorite books?
To Kill a Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
What is your favorite quote?

What makes you feel alive?
Lifting weights, doing projects around the house, playing with my 2 dogs and new puppy. Trying new restaurants and breweries with my husband Paul.

Angie – Practice Manager
What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
As the practice manager I work closely with Dr. Rudd to make sure the office is running smoothly. I also create treatment plans, take care of accounts, and file insurance claims for our patients.
What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
Our team. We have the most amazing group of individuals who have come together to make our patient experience something we hope is astounding. Anytime we face adversity a team member always steps up.
What is something oral surgery offices have to deal with that you want to make better?
Lack of communication. I try to be transparent with patients and referring offices. A lot of fear comes from the unknown and I like to alleviate most of that on the first visit here.

What makes you feel alive?
Spending time with family and friends. We enjoy cooking, board games, and movie nights. When I get a few minutes to myself I read or put on my music and jam out.

Jessica – Front Office
What is your background?
I grew up in Moriarty NM where we lived in the country on a dirt road. I have an associates in health studies and have been in the dental field since 2016.
What are your values?
I believe in taking care of the patient by going above and beyond what’s expected. It’s important to take care of them because they will take care of us in the long run by sending their friends and providing positive feedback to their dentist.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
We are a Disney family and love to travel to the park. For us it is definitely ‘the happiest place on earth.’ We also love just talking about it😊

Raquel – Oral Surgery Assistant, Dental Anesthesia Assistant
What are your credentials?
Experience in the dental field commencing in 2007. AAOMS certified dental anesthesia assistant, certified dental assistant, certificate in phlebotomy, Radiology.
Where did you grow up?
I’ve lived in Albuquerque since I was 11 and graduated from Albuquerque High School. My favorite food is Mexican. The person that most impacted my life was my Mom.
What are your 3 favorite books?
Save me from myself, A bronze horseman, Corazon Prodigo
What values drive you?
Being honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and respectful are important to me.
What makes you human?
Relaxing, watching movies, going for walks, reading and music.
Alex – Surgical Assistant
What do you do at BCOFS?
Prepare patients for exams and surgeries, make patients feel as comfortable as possible before any treatment. I want to make sure that patients here feel acceptance; both inside and out. And my favorite – bug Dr. Rudd!
What is your background?
I grew up in El Paso, Texas and moved to ABQ about 15 years ago. I love Italian and Mexican food. I have a furry dog named Raven who loves to play fetch and dance with me.
What do you like best about working at BCOFS?
The teamwork, the chance to grow my knowledge in the dental field. 3rd molar extractions! Something about that surgery is so fun and it’s my favorite procedure.

What do you love to do when you aren’t working?
I love attending electronic dance music events where you can let loose and dance like no one is watching. Family hangouts, nothing is better than family love and great food.
