Dr. Rudd believes he is only as good as the people around him.  Our Team consists of highly trained individuals who are dedicated to making your visit to our office as comfortable as possible. From the knowledgeable administrative staff, to our caring and compassionate clinical team of assistants, we are constantly striving to provide you with an exceptional surgery experience.

Robyn

Robyn – Practice Relations Director, Dental Anesthesia Assistant

What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
I am the director of public relations for the practice. I also still practice as a surgical assistant.

What is your background?
Born in Albuquerque and raised in Arizona and upper Michigan. I had two brothers, but we lost my older brother on his 25th birthday due to a helicopter crash. He was serving in the Army. That changed my life forever.

What are your credentials?
AAOMS certified dental anesthesia assistant, certified dental assistant, certificate in phlebotomy, working in the dental field since 2003.

What values drive you?
Being kind to everyone.

What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
I like oral surgery a lot and I love all my co-workers and Dr. Rudd. We have fun at work.

What do you love to do when you aren’t working?
I love to travel, especially tropical vacations. I play volleyball and golf. Learning about science and history are also pastimes I enjoy.

Jessica

Jessica – Front Office

What is your background?
I grew up in Moriarty NM where we lived in the country on a dirt road. I have an associates in health studies and have been in the dental field since 2016.

What are your values?
I believe in taking care of the patient by going above and beyond what’s expected. It’s important to take care of them because they will take care of us in the long run by sending their friends and providing positive feedback to their dentist.

What do you do when you aren’t working?
We are a Disney family and love to travel to the park. For us it is definitely ‘the happiest place on earth.’ We also love just talking about it😊

Jazmin – Oral Surgery Assistant

What do you do at BCOFS?
I am a surgical assistant.
What do you like best about working at BCOFS?
The environment is so welcoming. Everyone is willing to help each other, growing individually and as a team.
What is your background?
I’m an ABQ native, I’ve lived here my whole life. I was a beautician for about 5 years before working with an oral surgeon.

What do you love to do outside of oral surgery?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. From watching movies to taking road trips, just spending time with loved ones makes me happy.

Jazmin

Gaby – Dental Assistant

What is something oral surgery offices have to deal with that you want to fix or make better?
Dental Anxiety. My biggest goal is to help ease patients anxiety and clear up any misunderstandings associated with oral surgery.

What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
I am in charge of making sure I have all the necessary tools ready for every procedure while also giving the patient important information about their surgery and post-op instructions. I also take care of notes, letters for referring doctors, ordering supplies, and help other assistants when needed.

What are your credentials for working in your position?
I started at Dr. Rudd’s office with no prior experience in the dental field. I have since been training with Dr. Rudd.

What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
I love being able to help patients during difficult times.

What is your background? 
I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my amazing family.

I absolutely love music! I’m the bassist in alternative band and have been playing for about 3 years.

Matt

Matt Romero – Implant Treatment Coordinator

What is your favorite quote?

What is something oral surgery offices have to deal with that you want to fix or make better?
OMS offices deal with all walks of life & health situations. It’s important to be attentive to detail and thorough with all patients.

What do you do at Bear Canyon OFS?
I assist the Doctor and the team with wisdom tooth consultations. I also plan implant cases with Dr. Rudd using the X-guide navigational system.

What are your credentials for working in your position?
I’ve been a specialty dental assistant for 11 years. I am a licensed dental assistant, phlebotomy certified, and anesthesia assistant certified.

What do you like best about working at Bear Canyon OFS?
My co-workers are like family & the patients are great!

What is your background? 
I grew up in rural North Dakota with 5 siblings. We worked on a farm and learned many life lessons crucial for success.

What do you love outside of being at Bear Canyon OFS?
I enjoy weightlifting. My second career is as a Realtor, and I enjoy spending time with my 2-year-old daughter, watching her grow and discover new things.
